8 months old. How fast time flies. We are happy to announce that as of the first of the year we will be offering milestone sessions as part of our royal baby portrait session. You will be able to choose 3 sessions from belly to birthday to celebrate all those moments along the way. Stay in touch with us so you can be the first to get notified. Happy Halloween!
Love it went a session heads down on the farm. I was a little apprehensive the day of this session as it was about to rain A LOT any second. Thank goodness for such a wonderful connection between his mama and I. We decided to go for it and I was glad we did. In the beginning he wanted nothing to do with me and my camera but he warmed up to my crazy duck sounds.
Outdoor newborn photography is a special session that focuses on the relationships between the family and their new addition. The contrast between fresh new baby fingers and toes against the worlds natural elements bring such joy to families we photograph. This family stood out as they were truly becoming one. New addition, new adoption and new promotion. It sure was a time to celebrate! :-)
The absolute best part about photographing a repeat client in walking into their home and seeing your work adorning their walls (or mantle in this case). Two years ago I photographed her sons cake smash, last year their newborn daughter and this year her daughters cake smash. What an incredible circle. Mama was so happy to make this pink vision come to life for her little girl. Scroll down to see images from both smash sessions.
Playing around with some older images using new editing techniques I have been learning from class I have been taking this year. This girl was so adorable. Images from a workshop given by Eleven Sixteen Studios.
Around this season (my favorite season) I am always looking back at the year. Something about the crisp air makes me feel new again. One of my favorite seasonal sessions is pumpkin babies. I don't know what it is but I LOVE it. Here is a look back at a couple favorites.
Thank you Sixth-Bloom for sharing the perfect prep guide. 1- Fall colors such as darker shades of purple, yellow, orange, navy, tan and to top it off with a denim top is the cherry on top for me! I couldn't agree more. 2- Don’t Match! I don’t like for the entire family to match EXACTLY, but for each one to have a color that ties into the next one. So if dad wants to wear his favorite orange and blue plaid shirt, mom should choose a solid top for herself and the child(ren) and add pops of color that also tie back into dad’s shirt or add more depth to the style. A nice accessory might be an orange scarf or necklace on top of a tan top or a navy/orange bow for a child wearing a solid dress…ju
